Solventure is looking to strengthen its team in Belgium with a SQL Developer
Solventure acts as reseller and integrator of tooling supporting the sales & operations planning processes in manufacturing companies. This includes support for customer-product segmentation, demand planning, supply planning, inventory planning and executive S&OP.
Solventure provides supply chain analytics services. This combines a cloud based tooling solution with process improvement, coaching and analytics in all aspects of the S&OP process. In the analytics mode, we develop supply chain processes in a step-by-step and self-financing approach.
Next to these, Solventure is developing a ‘leading indicator forecasting solution’. This is based on Phd research within Solventure, in close collaboration with the universities of Lancaster and Gent. Leading indicators is a promising new technique. It will help the leaders in supply chain to realize a new and much needed breakthrough in forecast accuracy.
Solventure has also recently launched ‘Solventure Academy’, which develops S&OP competence, by providing open and in-company training, in the different steps of the S&OP process.

As part of our team of SQL Developers, you are one of the go-to persons for our customers and consultants. You help them efficiently configure planning solutions.
You take ownership of your work: you assess the problem, solve incidents independently or in your team (pair programming) and discuss the solution with the customer or consultant.
You maintain and further develop existing code to ensure stability and performance for various customer server environments.
You write new scripts and set up new processes to help our customers grow. You manage different SQL Server databases and monitor system's health and performance.
Data analysis, building insightful reports and learning about Supply Chain processes really spark your interest.

You have solid knowledge of and hands-on experience in SQL Server (tables, views, complex queries).
You have a strong technical background that allows you to be involved in a variety of tasks.
You master technical ICT language but also connect easily to business stakeholders.
You are a true team player and love to help, from coaching business consultants in the correct use of SQL to supporting customers in the effective use of their planning solutions.
You are analytical and result-oriented, you think in solutions rather than problems.
You have an entrepreneurial mindset, you easily translate ideas into feasible action points.
You are a quick learner, able to work independently and handle responsibility well.
You have excellent communication skills (in English – Dutch or German is a plus).
